SkyRide Rules, Release of Liability Waiver

Rules of the Ride:

Riders may be asked to leave the ride for any of the following reasons:

Failure to obey New York traffic laws
Unwanted harassment of other participants and staff
Failure to obey directions of ride staff
Repeated violation of the rules set forth in ride information documents
Or for any conduct that is deemed to be detrimental to GObike*

*Riders asked to leave the ride will not receive any type of monetary refund.

Helmets are required to be worn by all riders
Numbered race bibs will be given to all registered riders and must be worn throughout the entire event
Headphones/ earbuds of any deisgn are prohibited while riding because of the need to make safety announcements to riders, sometimes mid-ride.
The use of cell phones while cycling is prohibited by GObike on all of it's rides. Please stop your bike, pull off the road, and then use your cell phone.
Do not stop to take photos while on the Skyway. There will be many people trying to cross safely and we do not want unnecessary distractions that could jeopardize our safety. Photos of the event will be taken by professional photographers.
